  • Water integrity challenges in Jordan and the region. IUCN ROWA presents at the IWA Water & Development Congress 2015 discussing challenges and data collected after a water integrity assessment in the region.

    IUCN ROWA partners and members have joined the Regional Office for West Asia in its presence at the IWA Water and Development Congress. 

    IUCN partners and as part of the RKNOW network, have joined speaking in more than one session to disseminate RKNOW knowledge and experience in different fields and have further communicated the Climate Change Resilience toolkit produced as part of the SEARCH project. 

    The Regional Knowledge Network on Systemic Approaches to Water Resources Management is a 3 year regional project funded by the European Union. The project created a Regional Knowledge Network on Water (RKNOW) that assists in strengthening the application of systematic approaches to water management in 5 countries (Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco and Egypt). SEARCH is a three year regional project that worked in five countries (Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon), funded by the European Union, to develop and pilot a resilience framework for local action planning capacities and methodologies to increase climate change resilience through joint learning, planning and testing by stakeholders through demonstration sites. The Increasing Climate Change Resilience Toolkit was disseminated during the congress.
