As part of the RKNOW themes, this thematic area or knowledge node will help in demonstrating how water governance and climate change adaptation and mitigation can be achieved using a participatory approach that includes all stakeholders. 

This knowledge node will be able to produce, share and show case different methodologies and tools used on climate change impacts on water resources. It will also assist in producing and sharing tools used for vulnerability and adaptation plans. 

The responsible RKNOW partner for this knowledge node is the  The Abdelmalek Essaâdi University in Morocco and supported by Arab Women Organization in Jordan (AWO), the Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL) and Center for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe in Egypt (CEDARE).
